Our new anniversary was agreed to be held in July in order to enjoy the pleasures of a hot Siberian summer, warm sea and outdoor chilling. The place was a recreational one – Sosnovka resort, a nice area in a pine forest on the coast of our local Ob sea. The program was prepared in advance and included a ropes course, with high and low elements, a picnic, a wide choice of summer outdoor activities (volleyball, tennis, inline skating, etc.), a grand banquet in honor of the anniversary and an afterparty for those wishing the party to go on... read more →

While accessing the menu you can see the option of server selection and get connected to the server you want. So among these server types, there is server type called Windows Share, which I did not notice at that time. By selecting this type of server and entering server IP, I got connected. As I found out this way is a bit tricky... read more →

Switching from Windows XP to Ubuntu was mostly a religious matter. My first acquaintance with Ubuntu OS started with its loading screen, Ubuntu logo on the black background and status bar. Sound environment pleasantly surprised me. I do not want to say anything bad about Windows OS but it is more interesting here. Pleasant gamma of colors. My first impression did not deceive me: the features presented by Microsoft in new Vista were implemented here a long time ago... read more →
