Few hours ago in New York City, Google announced winners of its annual Global Code Jam competition. Petr Mitrichev, a Math student of Moscow University, made it to the top and won the $10,000 first prize. The third prize of $5,000 in cash was also won by a Russian guy Andrey Stankevich. Ok, so I’ve upgraded to 2.0. In fact, the first time I did it was even before the official release when the first setup files just appeared at ftp archives such as this official mirror of Firefox developers community. Was it subjective or not, but I decided that this release is kind of rough and I uninstalled it. On the next day, the entire Internet got mad and I decided that sooner or later but I have to do it and I downloaded it again, this time from the official site.
