This week, 12-16 of May is the Bike To Work Week in many U.S. cities. Although we are not in the U.S., bikes are very popular in Sibers and we fully support this initiative! Living and working in Academic Campus, it is a real pleasure to travel by bike to work and home, to the beach and inside the surrounding forests. Sibers encourages its employees to ride their bikes and built a special secure bicycle parking near the office. After-work bike trips became a good tradition among Sibersers, and if you’re new to it, we’ll show you around... read more →
Yesterday we all celebrated New Year and although my head still feels sick, I must tell you about one of our best parties ever. Since it’s too boring to just drink to the new year, our idea was to launch a spaceship to 2008 because in the space it was already 2008. There are a lot of people around us who desperately need help, and when Sibers heard a story of a nice little girl who couldn’t walk because of cerebral spastic infantile paralysis and whose mother had no money for her treatment, we decided to help. At our local forum we run a campaign which idea was to collect the money for the necessary treatment so as it could begin as soon as possible. The employees could donate any sum and the company added double of this sum. We phoned the Center of New Medical Technologies where the girl was supposed to have treatment, learnt how much we were to collect and began the action... read more →
