With the opening of google BETA- Russian Translator writing letters in Russian has become possible for our clients.
If you want to greet us in Russian slang, follow instructions how to greet Russians from our blog.
If you write “Превед” and Google asks you “Wazzup”, everything’s OK. Don’t hesitate to begin your letter with this word.
don’t want to be anal, but i always thought “wazzup” was spelled “привет” in russian.
forgot to mention – thanks a lot for the tip on using the Google translator though. I had no idea that they’ve finally implemented the russianenglish translation, that’s a great help. Thanks a lot!
“Превед” is a kind of new wave of internet slang.
but according to Russian language rules correctly to spell “привет” of course.

I still think one’s own head is faster and more accurate than Google translator, or any other thing… Just in case you haven’t yet heard of http://www.myngle.com – check it out. One will be able to sign up for courses online and have lessons with native Russians (among others) using Skype and cool virtual tools like whiteboard, podcasts, etc. Should be a great spot to keep an eye on. I think lessons start from Dec this year…
